Retiring Spotlight-Featuring Arrange A Wreath Bundle

This week I'm sharing some favorites that are retiring!  I've searched my blog and found lost of amazing projects to share. Today I'm sharing Arrange A Wreath.  I'm so so so sad to see this one go and I'm really surprised that it is leaving.  It's a year round bundle that is worth having in your stash. 

I've used this bundle tons!  It's been one of my go to bundles this past year and I'm so sad to see it go!  I shared this beautiful glimmered wreath back in June and it's still one of my favorite cards.  I love all the sparkle and that amazing flower!

April Card Crate-Pretty Perennials Bundle

I am happy to announce a new way to do classes with me!  Welcome to Card Crate!  The class that comes to your door and you can do your projects on your time from the comfort of your home.  Read on for all the details!

Retiring Spotlight-To A Wild Rose

This week I'm sharing some favorites that are retiring!  I've searched my blog and found lost of amazing projects to share. Today I'm sharing To A Wild Rose.  This is a gorgeous stamp set.  You can get coordinating dies with it as well (if they haven't already sold out-available only while supplies last-and these are a steal!!!  They're discounted to only $8.50!!!) First up is this amazing card!  I love everything about this card!  I love the fussy cut and embossed greetings to the purple shades of the flower.  It's just a stunning card!  Not a purple fan?  This card could easily be adapted with ANY color!!

Next I tried my hands at a no line coloring technique with this flower and it came out so beautifully!!!  This is one of my favorite cards with this set!  Don't less this set go without getting it!!!

Happy Easter Chick Box-VIDEO

I have one last Easter treat box to share with you.  This one is small but mighty!!  This box only uses a quarter sheet of cardstock so you can get four per sheet of cardstock!  If you have a lot to make this might be your go to box! I used the Hey Birthday Chick Bundle for my sweet chickie.  I colored her with Crumb Cake and Mint Macaroon Blends.  Weird combo, but it totally works!!!  

I tied my box closed with some ribbon.  The ribbon pictured is the Just Jade gingham pattern from the Flowers For Every Season Pack.  In the video I used the Just Jade In Color Ribbon.  This one is retiring so I wanted to give it one more use.  The 'Easter' is die cut with the Word Wishes Dies.  For easy application to your project add an adhesive sheet to the back of your cardstock BEFORE die cutting and your greeting will turn into a sticker ready to apply!

The box is super simple.  You'll need a piece of cardstock that is 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"

On the long side score at 2", 2 1/2", 4 1/2" and 5"

On the short side score at 1/2", 3" and 3 1/2"

Mini Easter Basket-VIDEO

With Easter quickly approaching I wanted to share another cute Easter treat holder.  This time I made a super cute basket.  This basket is so easy to make you can make one for all of your Easter guests, hand them out at work, schools, church, anywhere!  They are pretty sturdy so feel free to pile those treats high!  They're also big enough to add an egg or two, whether the plastic ones filled with treats or real eggs!  

The basket picture is made in Coastal Cabana Cardstock.  The one I make in the video is Daffodil Delight.  I used the Brilliant Wings Dies and the Pierced Blooms Dies to decorate my basket.  You could add a stamped image as well.  Or a tag with some customization, I'm thinking names or initals would be really cute if you were using this for a place setting.  

You could make them in everyone's favorite color.  There is no stamping on this basket but I did do some ink blending on the white die cut butterfly.  For the Coastal Cabana one I used Pool Party for the Daffodil Delight one I used So Saffron.  The ink blending is light and subtle but makes a world of difference then just the white butterfly.  

To make the basket you'll need: 

Two-2 1/4" Circles (I used my punch, you an also use a similar sized circle from the Layering Circles Dies)

Six-4 1/4" x 3/4" strips of cardstock

Three-8 1/2" x 3/4" strips of cardstock

In Bloom Congratulations

I have a gorgeous card to share with you. This card has amazing colors, beautiful foil and a heat embossed greeting.  You might say this card has it all!  I used my Blossoms In Bloom stamp to stamp my card base, I used Petal Pink in on Petal Pink card stock.  The Blossoms In Bloom set is such an amazing set and I love how it covers the entire card front with just one stamp! I used my Basic Black Stampin' Blends to splater the card base.  This is one of my favorite techniques, you'd never think that a little splatter would make that much of a difference but it does! 

 

I pulled out my favorite Pierced Blooms Dies to make my flowers.  This dies set coordinates with the In Bloom Bundle but the dies can stand alone too.  This has been one of my favorite bundles and if it doesn't carry over I will be heart broken!  It's been one of my favorites!!!  We'll find out later today if it does or doesn't!  Ahhh!!!!  To finish my card I embossed a greeting and added my greeting and flower onto a stitched rectangle piece of the Love You Always Foil.  The foil really pops and makes this card shine.  Finally some Champagne Rhinestones and this card is done.  I have a full supply list below, you can shop for all of these products in my online store.

Kangaroo and Company-Just A Note

Do you ever have those sets that you really love and your really want then you get it and just never have time to use it? This is that stamp set for me.  I love the sweet kangaroos and I had big Valentine's day plans for it.  Well....here we are...near the end of March and I'm just getting to use it!  But the great thing is that this isn't just a Valentine's Day set.  The images in this set are versatile enough to use year round!  PS I also think this would make an adorable Mother's Day card! 

My kangaroos are colored with Stampin' Blends, of course!  I used Cinnamon Cider and the Bronze/Ivory pack to give them some color.  I know how cute the roos are but I think my favorite image in this set is the little envelope!  It's the perfect stamp for card makers!  I stamped it all over my Cinnamon Cider background in Cinnamon Cider ink.  I'm holding onto this stamp for stamping my enevelopes when I mail cards too!  I have a full supply list below, you can shop for these products in my Online Store.

Team Color Challenge 3 with Gilded Leafing

If you checked my Facebook Live yesterday, you've seen this amazing card.  If not you're in for a treat!  This gorgeous card is my team color challenge number three!  When I saw the gold in this one I instantly knew it had to be the Gilded Leafing!  This is an amazing product that is quick to add sparkle and amazing texture to your projects.  I also pulled out my Brilliant Wings Dies again for this one because it's just soooo gorgeous!  

The gilded leafing is designed to stick to anything sticky so to create my golden bricks I used a die from the Brilliant Wings Dies to die cut a stencil.  Once I had my stencil I used a sponge and some Tombow Liquid glue and applied glue through the stencil onto my card.  Set it aside and let it dry for a couple minutes. Once dry the glue will be tacky and you can easily stick your Gilded Leafing onto it.  I also used my sticky glue sponge and added some glue to the edge of the wings and added the leafing there too.  To finish the card I used some of the Playing With Patterns Dots, colored with my Night of Navy Stampin' Blends to coordinate.  I finished with a golden bow from the Forever Greenery Ribbon Combo Pack.  So gorgeous!

Team Color Challenge 2 with Butterfly Brilliance

I have another fun color challenge to share with you.  My team and I are having sooo much fun with this challenge this month.  This card I just LOVE!!  I pulled out the Butterfly Brilliance for this card and it came out gorgeous!  Make sure when you stamp that giant butterfly image you're using your Stamparatus.  It makes a world of difference!  Those larger stamps sometimes need a little extra love and that's exactly what the Stamparatus was made for.  

The show stopper of this bundle is for sure those amazing dies!  The detail dies are incredible!  To get all my colors in for my color challenge I made a border with scraps of cardstock all cut to varying widths.  I love that panel look!  I finished the card with some Rhinestones and some baker's twine from the Well Suited Pack.  My greeting is heat embossed and from the Brushed Blooms set.  Make sure you join me live today on Facebook at 3pm MT.  I have another fun card and another color challenge using this Butterfly Brilliance Bundle.  Can't make it live?  Don't worry it will be posted first thing in the morning.  .
