Twelve Weeks Of Christmas Week 5-Merry Mischief Cookie Caddy-VIDEO

Welcome to the 2026 Twelve Weeks Of Christmas Series!  This is a series I do every year for twelve weeks leading up to Christmas.  I share fun, often over the top, Christmas projects. From cards, to boxes to home decor, you never know what fun I have in store for you!

Today is Halloween, but we are all about Christmas here! I have been wanting to make this cookie caddy for soooo long.  It's one of those projects that just kinds a ruminates in your brain.  So so so excited it finally came to life!  Let's talk about the cookies for a minute because the cookies were the hardest piece of this puzzle for me.  I KNOW I've seen these cookies in my local stores, of course when I wanted them they were nowhere to be found.  These are Grandma's Cookies-2 packs.  I specifically wanted bigger cookies packaged for this specific project.  I searched many stores for weeks to no avail.  I finally broke down and got them on Amazon.  I ended up getting a huge box of them 12 packs-yay for my family.  Well wouldn't you know it last week I saw them at Walmart.  Not a huge box of them, but these exact 2 packs being sold by the registers. AHHHHH! Karma. Love it! If you're making a bunch of these, probably a bigger box is better.  Did I save money, probably, but not sanity....so....yeah...this is where we are. But this is what happens when you have a specific treat in mind and can't get it out of your head! In the end it was all worth it because this box is sooooo stinkin' cute!

stampin up, merry mischief

Let's get into the details on this box and not the cookie drama.  I used the Merry Mischief Bundle.  This single stamp, the gnome Santa holding a cookie is what started this whole thing.  I saw that stamp and said to myself, "Self, this MUST be a cookie caddy".  These cookies are substantial, they're good but hefty.  So when I put the cookie in the caddy, it immediately tipped over.  I added another cookie holder the back to balance it and it stood like a champ.  Yay-double treats! Do you have to use cookies, no. Do you have to use these cookies, no.  This would be cute with really any treat, I just love that he's holding a cookie, so perfect!

stampin up, merry mischief

When making any caddy like this you need to brace the bottom, if not it will inevitably fall and go flat.  I added a sturdy handle because like I mentioned these cookies are hefty.  I also can't get over how cute it is in pink.  I used Strawberry Slush, it would be equally cute in traditional red and green too.

I used Stampin' Blends to color my image, I have a full supply list linked below.  I couldn't be more pleased with this super cute box.  I think it will be a huge hit for those special people on your list this year.  Make sure to check out the video for all the tips on this one.

Royal Flush Playing Card

I have one more Royal Flush project to share with you before this product launches next week, on November 3, 2026.  When I saw this bundle I thought 'my daughter needs one of a kind playing cards of our dog'.  So, that's exactly what I did.  I went back and forth on exactly HOW to do this but ultimately I decided on four photos, one to represent each suit.

stampin up, royal flush

Let me give you a little bit of my thought process behind this decision because it was something that I thought WAYYYYYYY to much about.  I first thought I'll make the back of the cards be the dogs photo, but then I could only use one photo and then the thought of stamping endless diamonds, hearts, clubs and spades repeatedly over cards 2-10 started to haunt me.  Then what would I do for the face cards?

After much back and forth and arguing in my head I decided to keep the back plain and simple-I used retired cardstock, and use four photos to represent each suit.  I did stamp a number/letter on every card and the proper suit.  I used VersaMark and white heat embossed everything.

stampin up, royal flush

For the photos, this was going to be an awful lot of ink for my printer, plus I wanted the quality to be better than my printer so I created a PDF with the photos and sent it off to my local Staples to print on cardstock.  It was WAYYYY less than I would have spent on ink and the quality was better.  I die cut all the photos, I printed a few extras just in case.  Then I die cut tons of cardstock for the back of the cards and adhered them together.  This isn't a deck of cards she's going to get rough with or play intense games of Slap Jack but it's a cute memento of our 10 month old puppy, Pua.

I don't have a list of supplies or measurements for this project but I hope it gives you a fun idea for a cute gift for you or a loved one! Also, this might be one of the only projects I've ever made that doesn't include Dimensionals!  Wow!

New Online Exclusive products will be available starting November 3, 2026.

Royal Flush Expanding Accordion Fun Fold Sneak Peek

We have a brand new batch of Online Exclusives coming next week!  You'll be able to shop this new selection of products beginning on November 3, 2026.  One bundle I was particularly interested in is the new Royal Flush Bundle.  I have two incredible projects to share with you this week.  This fun bundle features playing cards, there's also some poker chips stamps/dies in the bundle too.  Along with cute, punny greetings this bundle was calling my name.

stampin up, royal flush

For my card, I wanted a card that would mimic the expanding motion of fanning out cards.  This fold was perfect for it.  I'm not sure the official name of this fold but I call it an expanding accordion fold.  Seems to work.  My cards are fanned out on the first fold.  There's greetings on the second and third folds that you can't see until you expand the card.  So fun!

stampin up, royal flush

I don't play poker but I have put in many years of Go Fish and this bundle just called me!  I love everything about it! I kept my color combo bold with Real Red and Basic Black.  My greetings are white heat embossed to make them stand out.

stampin up, royal Flush

I used two DSP packs, the Artisan Sketched DSP and the Beautiful Ordinary Life DSP.  Both have some amazing black/white patterns that were just perfect for this card.  I finished it with some Sunset Sparkle Sequins.  I used the Strawberry Slush Color.  They're not a perfect match, but the holographic detail of the sequins really brings out their red tones and give them the perfect sparkle.

Twelve Weeks Of Christmas Week 4-Frosted Pinecones Pop Out Card-VIDEO

Welcome to the 2026 Twelve Weeks Of Christmas Series!  This is a series I do every year for twelve weeks leading up to Christmas.  I share fun, often over the top, Christmas projects. From cards, to boxes to home decor, you never know what fun I have in store for you!

We've done some pretty fun boxes over the past couple of weeks so it's time for another show stopping card!  For week 4 we're making a pop out card.  I saw a card like this on social media.  Of course I didn't save it and I had to go off my memory of how it worked.  After MANY trials and errors I finally came to a place where I'm excited to share!  If you've seen this card let me know.  It's sooo much fun!  I guarantee you and your friends will have so much fun playing with it!

stampin up, frosted pinecones

I'm using the Frosted Pinecones Bundle for this one.  LOVE LOVE LOVE this bundle!  I can't get enough of it!  I'm using Cloud Cover and Secret Sea.  These are colors that will be retiring next year so if you love them, stock up on them now.  It's possible they're going to join the color families during the refresh next year but we don't know that yet, so if they're colors you love don't risk missing out!

stampin up, frosted pinecones

You'll need some 12" x 12" paper for this card, I'm using two toned 12" x 12".  I like it for this because it's a little thinner than our regular cardstock and that means less bulk and easier to fold and manipulate.  If you're mailing this card you'll probably need some extra postage regardless of what cardstock you use.

stampin up, frosted pinecones

So, where does the pop out come into play?  You probably noticed in the photos above the accordion folding and maybe you noticed the two tabs on each side of the card.  When you pull on those tabs the sides pop out and you're left with a showstopping incredible card! You'll be playing with this over and over again.  It's pure Christmas magic!  Make sure to check out the video below to see it all in action.

Typically, when I use Cherry Cobbler I end up wearing more of it than is on the project, then it gets everywhere!  So very small bursts of Cherry Cobbler for me, but this color combo, I can't help it I'll be using Cherry Cobbler more! Very carefully! I love the candy canes the mouse is holding and his sweet Santa hat.  This would be a very fun card to mass produce.  The card is simple but soooo cute!

Today's card is another winner!  I love this one too.  It's simple, adorable and it holds a gift card!  Yesterday we did an offset gatefold card.  Today we're using those same exact base card measurements, but instead of making a gatefold, we'll turn the smaller side into a gift card pocket.  Super versatile card layout!  Love!!

My sweet mouse is colored in Stampin' Blends, I have a full list of colors used in the supply list linked below.  My DSP is from the Painted Patch DSP, you might have considered this a fall DSP but look at the basic patterns, they're so universal and can be used for sooo many different occasions! I love this color combo, Calypso Coral and Pretty Peacock!  Yes!  I used a panel of Pretty Peacock, embossed with the Rustic Check Folder inside on my pocket.  There's still plenty of room to write a message too.

I absolutely LOVE today's card!  I actually made this card for a swap a couple months ago and have been holding onto it for this class.  It's so cute!  It's a variation of an offset gatefold with a mini card in front.  Just so stinkin' adorable!  Because I made so many of these for a swap I kept the coloring pretty minimal, which is always a good option if you making a stack of them or maybe just aren't super confident in your coloring yet.  Stamp on colored cardstock and use your blends to add some highlights instead of coloring the entire image.

The gift box is the only image that's fully colored and there is zero blending.  I used Stampin' Blends to add some highlights to my mouse and the bow.  The DSP is from the A Little Christmas pack.  Coordinates perfectly!

The smaller square card sits on front and sandwiches the right side of the gatefold card.  It's super simple to make and really fun and interactive to open. Your friends and family will love this one!
