Twelve Weeks Of Christmas Week 5-Merry Mischief Cookie Caddy-VIDEO

Welcome to the 2026 Twelve Weeks Of Christmas Series!  This is a series I do every year for twelve weeks leading up to Christmas.  I share fun, often over the top, Christmas projects. From cards, to boxes to home decor, you never know what fun I have in store for you!

Today is Halloween, but we are all about Christmas here! I have been wanting to make this cookie caddy for soooo long.  It's one of those projects that just kinds a ruminates in your brain.  So so so excited it finally came to life!  Let's talk about the cookies for a minute because the cookies were the hardest piece of this puzzle for me.  I KNOW I've seen these cookies in my local stores, of course when I wanted them they were nowhere to be found.  These are Grandma's Cookies-2 packs.  I specifically wanted bigger cookies packaged for this specific project.  I searched many stores for weeks to no avail.  I finally broke down and got them on Amazon.  I ended up getting a huge box of them 12 packs-yay for my family.  Well wouldn't you know it last week I saw them at Walmart.  Not a huge box of them, but these exact 2 packs being sold by the registers. AHHHHH! Karma. Love it! If you're making a bunch of these, probably a bigger box is better.  Did I save money, probably, but not sanity....so....yeah...this is where we are. But this is what happens when you have a specific treat in mind and can't get it out of your head! In the end it was all worth it because this box is sooooo stinkin' cute!

Let's get into the details on this box and not the cookie drama.  I used the Merry Mischief Bundle.  This single stamp, the gnome Santa holding a cookie is what started this whole thing.  I saw that stamp and said to myself, "Self, this MUST be a cookie caddy".  These cookies are substantial, they're good but hefty.  So when I put the cookie in the caddy, it immediately tipped over.  I added another cookie holder the back to balance it and it stood like a champ.  Yay-double treats! Do you have to use cookies, no. Do you have to use these cookies, no.  This would be cute with really any treat, I just love that he's holding a cookie, so perfect!

When making any caddy like this you need to brace the bottom, if not it will inevitably fall and go flat.  I added a sturdy handle because like I mentioned these cookies are hefty.  I also can't get over how cute it is in pink.  I used Strawberry Slush, it would be equally cute in traditional red and green too.
