Filled With Sweetness Blueberry Cake Box

I have another Filled With Sweetness project today. Yes I know I'm using this bundle a ton lately but I can't get enough of it! The images and greetings are too cute! Plus blueberry treats are far too easy to find so I have to make all the gift boxes! Today I'm making a fun box and lid that holds a Hostess Lemon Blueberry Coffee Cake. I found these at my local Walmart. They are a limited edition item so you might not be able to find them everywhere. Hostess has a product locator, you can find them in your area here. I believe they have coffee cakes year round so this box will fit those year round.

I used Stampin' Blends to color my berries and I stamped the heart to make a fun background. Also Timid Tiger and Misty Moonlight are a perfect color combo. For my ribbon I cut small slits in the lid and threaded it through the top instead of tying it around the box. This way your ribbon stays put. No one has to untie anything to get to a treat and you save some ribbon because it's not going all the way around the box.

My lid is just slightly larger than my box. To get that to work without measuring to crazy measurements use a small stack of post it notes-I used about 5. Stick them on the left side of your simply scored then line your paper up. This tiny difference and shim makes the lid just a hair bigger and gives you a lid that fits snuggly but lifts off easily.
