Etched In Nature Watercolor

I've been so excited to share this card with you!  Demonstrators who attended Stampin' Up! virtual event On Tour in April received this set.  The set is Etched in Nature, it's in the new catalog and is artistic and full of fun nature images.  Since there were sooo many On Tour events around the globe at different times, demonstrators were asked not to share samples or images of the set until April 26.  Well here we are!  I'm soooo excited to share this!!!  When I saw this bird I wanted to watercolor it. The sketched detail in the stamp just screamed watercolor to me.

To watercolor it I used my Water Painters and some ink that I smooshed onto some clear blocks.  I used Misty Moonlight and Magenta Madness for the bird, while keeping the branch earthy with Cinnamon Cider.  The legs and beak are Bumblebee.  When you watercolor it's important to use a good cardstock for water, I'm using our Shimmery White.  I used the Tin Tile Embossing folder for even more detail (sadly the Tin Tile Folder is sold out) and added some flowers from the Pierced Blooms Dies.  Gold accents were added with the Forever Greenery Ribbon pack and Metallic Pearls.  Items that are available to purchase now are listed in my supply list below.  The stamp set will be available on May 4, 2021!  If you love this set I have one more card to share on Monday featuring it!  Make sure to check back!
