Happy Halloween!

It's Halloween, it's not my favorite holiday but the kids enjoy it.  They'll be hopped up on candy for weeks now.  I wish I had a fun Halloween treat for you but sadly I don't.  I've been spending the week on huge projects, all of which you'll see in the next week-10 days.  I've also been busily preparing for the Winter Wonderland Scrapbook Weekend that starts in one week!!!  EEEEK!!!  I'm so excited and I'm planning some really amazing projects.  Check back Monday I'll have something fun to share I'm sure!

12 Weeks Til Christmas Countdown: Week 5

Week 5!  I'm really, really loving this set Gentle Peace.  It's a wonderful set to use if you're a fan of Blendabilities.  I'm having a great time, just relaxing and spending some time coloring.  It's actually pretty therapeutic.  I colored this one pretty similar to the last one that I colored here.  I changed a few of the colors but for the most part kept them pretty similar.  So what did I change on this card???  I embossed some vellum with our star embossing folder.  I love this look, it tones down the brightness of the Crushed Curry so that it doesn't distract you from the main image.  I also used my markers to just color a small part of the sentiment.  I love this quick addition. 

But what really makes this card stand out is the glitter!!!  After I colored it I covered the entire image in Versa Mark and embossed it with Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder.  The glitter is amazing!!!  It's so pretty in real life.  Capturing glitter on camera is not easy but you can get a good glimpse of the shine in this picture.  I love the look.  I hope you enjoyed this week on the countdown.

Christmas Cards Round 2

Here's the final two cards from my stamp a stack.  This one is probably my favorite!  The red glimmer paper really sets this card apart and over the top!!!!  I did a card similar to this for a swap a couple months ago.  I LOVED it sooooo much I had to do it for my class!!! 

Finally, the last card.  I really love this card!  The simple embossing in the back really bring the card together I think.  I love to pop of DSP in the Christmas tree is so much fun!!!!  And of course there's a sparkly star on top!!!

Christmas Cards Round 1

Here are two of the four Christmas cards that we did at my Stamp a Stack.  I had such a good time (as I do at all my classes!) I hope everyone that attended had a good time as well!!!  The first one was pretty simple, lots of embossing though.  I love gold on black!  I think it's so striking and classic!  We used the Newborn King set and embossed it on black.  Added some Gold Bakers Twine, that pretty much finished the card.  Simple and beautiful!!!

The next card is so fun.  EVERY year I have to do a non traditional colored Christmas card.  Sometimes I do more than one, this year it was just one :)  But I love purple and pinks for Christmas!!!  Again this one is really easy, randomly stamp the stars and add a greeting and some ribbon.  Fun and quick!!!!  These are cards that you want to be able to make a ton of in not a lot of time so quick and cute is always the way to go!!!  I have two more to share tomorrow!

Tiny Treat Snowflake Boxes

I had my Christmas Card Stamp a Stack over the weekend.  By far this is the biggest class I do all year.  I start planning for this class in August, place a big order for supplies in September and then spend weeks cuttings.  Because of my schedule and the kids schedules I only have a couple hours a day to cut, and 600 cards is a lot to cut for!  You'll see all the cards tomorrow and Wednesday.  Today though I have the treat boxes everyone who attended my class received.  I always like to give small gifts to people for attending my classes.  Saturdays are a busy day no matter who you are, and I'm so grateful for my customers and friends who take a few hours out of their Saturday to come to my classes.  My business truly would not exist if it weren't for my wonderful guests who come every month...you guys are the best!!!  Every class I do a little box, they're normally just filled with candy.  As I'm typing this (a week before my class-how organized am I??!) I don't know what I'll fill these with.  Chocolate I'm sure :) 

This year my Stamp a Stack sold out, with a record number of people.  Last year I cut it off at 20, this year I decided to expand it to 30.  Every single spot was filled.  I was blown away!  I'm so glad that people look forward to this class, because though the prep is a lot of work, it's really my favorite class to prep.  But because I had a huge record number of guests :) I decided to go quick and simple with the boxes this time. 

I used our Tiny Treat Boxes from the Holiday Catalog.  These boxes are so great!!!  You get 25 boxes for less than $7, it's less than $.30 a box!!!!  But that's not even the best part.  The BEST part...they just fold together!  Not a scrap of adhesive, just fold and they practically assemble themselves!  Whooohooo!!!  I stamped them with the snowflakes from Endless Wishes from the Holiday catalog in white ink.  I love white and kraft together!!!  To finish them I added some Lost Lagoon Taffeta Ribbon and Snowflake from the All Is Calm Snowflake Embellishments, both from the Holiday Catalog, they're such cute little charms!  I'll share the cards over the next two days!

Cat On a Fence

Black cats and full moons, what else says Halloween is almost here?  This card actually came out pretty cute, I wasn't sure while it was coming together, and looking at it now I think I should have put the cat behind the fence and not on top, it kind of looks like it's floating :)  Next time.  Aside from the floating cat, this card is lots of fun.  I especially love the background with the stars and all the night colors.  I was really easy to do too!! 

I started with a piece of Island Indigo cardstock.  Then I punched out some stars, the color doesn't matter.  I used some temporary adhesive to hold them down, then I sponged Island Indigo ink over the entire piece of cardstock.  Then I sponged Night Of Navy over the top half.  Finally I sponged Blackberry Bliss over the very top.  Then I removed my stars.  I used a white gel pen to add some little dots for the farther away stars.  I love the look of the sky :)  Maybe that's why I didn't notice my cat was floating until I was editing the pictures :)

12 Weeks Til Christmas Countdown: Week 4

Week 4!  Can you believe how quickly these weeks are flying by!!!?!  Today's card is another card I just love!  I was inspired by this card by Martha.  I loved how peaceful this card is with just the little polar bear!  I did change mine up a little though.  I really wanted to 'frame' my bear.  I don't know why but I kept thinking of this card and it always had a silver frame.  So I went with it.  I made the frame by cutting a square that was about 3.5x3.5.  Then using my paper cutter I cut another square out of the center of the square.  The smaller square is about 2.5x2.5.  So I was left with a .5 inch frame.  If you have the square framelits you can do the same thing with the framelits.  I've had a hard time convincing myself that I need the square framelits because I can cut a square, I can cut a square out of a square see where I'm stuck :)

Now we have the frame, we need the polar bear.  I fussy cut him out. I know some people don't like to fussy cut, I actually do!  Weird?  Maybe, but I enjoy it! I used some All Is Calm DSP for the background and just cut some random hills for the polar bear.  To finish the card I added a greeting and some sequins.  It's really lovely in person and I think the frame brings everything together.

Glitter Covered Leaves

Because is there anything better than glitter covered....anything!!?!  Nope I don't believe so.  That's why these gold glitter covered leaves are THE BEST!!!  I saw this card, that was made by Teneale Williams as a wedding card.  As gorgeous as it is, I wanted more of a fall theme to my leaves, so I went with our gold glitter.  The leaves are from the Holiday Catalog, they're the Autumn Wooden Elements.  I love them but as wood I find them hard to add to cards and projects....until now.  I do also want to mention that this card is a 3x6 card.  With the leaves going vertically I wanted a slender tall card.  A while ago SU used to sell envelopes for this size card.  I still have some, that's how I choose my card size.  You could always make a coordinating envelope with the Envelope Punch Board though :)

Back to the leaves, how to get the glitter on the leaves.  Teneale used Tombow to cover her leaves then sprinkle glitter over them.  I wanted to see if our Heat and Stick Powder would work.  So I smooshed my leaf into a Versamark pad then covered it with Heat and Stick.  Then sprinkled the gold glitter over it.  The heat and stick worked, but there were some loose pieces of glitter that didn't adhere as well as I would have liked.  I think next time I will try the Tombow, I think you'll get full, better coverage with Tombow.  To solve my 'loose glitter' problem, which I'll point out wasn't a big deal but I live with an anti-glitter guy, who is of the belief that IF glitter must be used, it MUST be attached so it won't come off and get tracked through the house and eventually end up on him.  {eyeroll}  So, back to my 'loose glitter' problem, I simply covered my leaves with a thin layer of Crystal Effects.  I actually LOVE this so much more than just glitter covered because now it's glitter covered, shiny leaves!  And the glitter, it's not moving!

Blendabilities and Stained Glass

When this set, Gentle Peace, was released it instantly went on my must get list!  Fortunately for me I had to place one last order last week for my Stamp a Stack this weekend which meant I could add it on.  I love the stained glass look.  I don't know if it's because I grew up in a church with huge, beautiful stained glass windows or if I just love the image.  Either way I knew this was a set I had to have!  I also knew that this was a set that I would be coloring with my Blendabilities.  I won't sugar coat this, it took a long time to color, about half of Frozen :)  It took awhile because even though the image as whole is pretty large, each little piece is pretty small I colored every square, rectangle, whatever shape individually which added a lot of time.  But I wanted it to look like a real window. 

If you've ever looked at a stained glass window carefully you know that the way it's all fused together (I really don't know what you call it) makes the light come in and shine differently through each part.  I colored it the way I thought it might look in real life.  For the greeting, it needed something on the front, but the image is so big that any additions would cover up the picture that I spent half of Frozen coloring.  That's why vellum is so great!!!  I embossed the smaller greeting on vellum and wrapped it around, gluing it on the back to hold it in place.  The vellum adds the greeting but doesn't take away or cover too much of the image.  This is such a fun set!  I'll be coloring it lots more!!!

Scarecrows

Go grab some coffee or whatever you drink in the morning, this post is a loooong one, but worth it so stick around!  My friend and downline Michelle (who does the BEST scrapbooking weekends!!!) hosted a scrapbooking weekend in Raton, NM (northern NM) over the weekend.  She sent me this link via Pintrest and asked if I could make her 15 scarecrows for her weekend.  Of course I jumped on that opportunity!  How often do you get the chance to make 15 scarecrows.....ummmm never???!  I checked out the link, worked up a couple of them and started pulling them together.  They were a little more time consuming than I thought they'd be but once everything was cut and sponged they went together quickly. 

I'll list the punches and what I used each punch for on the bottom.  These guys are not small, they're a good size but soooo cute!!!  He's about 9 inches tall, not counting the legs.  The first model didn't sit up on his own so I needed to create a 'stand' that I could attach to the back.  I don't have a picture of that but I used the cardboard that come in the DSP packages and cut about a 6x1 inch piece folded in half and used that.   

I took pictures in stages with my cell phone, often at night, often after the kids were in bed, often in the living room watching TV with Dan.  They're not the best quality but you get the idea of how they all came together.  The legs are our thin cello bags filled with gumballs, then stapled to the inside back piece.  This stage I think took the longest because I was slightly OCD and the each set of legs had to have the same color of gumball in the same position.  They're all different, but each set of legs match each other.  I hope that makes sense.  But it turned into me dumping bags of gumballs into big bowls so I could find the right color :) 

There were times when I worked in the car, waiting for Logan to get out of school.  I packed up the bodies and arms in a large stamp case and took it with me.  The cases fit everything perfect and the sponging got done quickly.  I'm always one to multi task!   

One of the last steps was the heads. I needed lots of space for the heads to dry so I started utilizing every flat surface I had including the kids Cars table.  My desk was far to cluttered to use and I needed to lay them out, it worked!  Here's all the punches and framelits I used:

Scarecrow

Hat: 3 Inch Circle Die, (retired but you could use the circle framelits) cut in half and use 3/4 inch circle to punch out notch in hat, in Soft Suede.

Brim of hat: 1x4 piece of cardstock with rounded corners in Soft Suede.

Head: 3 Inch Circle Die (retired but you could use the circle framelits) in Crumb Cake.

Eyes: 3/4 Inch Circle Punch in White and 1/2 Inch Circle Punch in Black.

Nose: Christmas Tree Punch in Pumpkin Pie.

Smile: 2 smallest ovals from the Oval Framelits, cut together to create an oval frame in Black.  Cut in half.  1/4 Inch Circle Punch in Black.

Body: Top Note Die in Not Quite Navy.  You need a front and back.  I hand cut the overalls for the front.  Use Top Note for the shirt too with DSP.

Arms: 1x4 piece of DSP, fold over 1/2 inch for the sleeve. 

Shoes: XL Oval in Soft Suede. 

Crow

Body: 1-3/4 Scallop Circle in Black.

Wings: 1-1/4 Scallop Circle in Black.

Eyes: 1/2 Inch Circle in White and 1/4 Inch Circle in Black.

Beak: Heart from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack in Pumpkin Pie.

Feet: Boho Bloosom in Pumpkin Pie.

Megan's Frozen Card

Megan's birthday is tomorrow.  She'll be 4.....wow!  I've mentioned here more than once that Megan is a fan of, that Megan likes, that Megan loves, that Megan is {completely consumed with all things Frozen related, is growing her hair in hopes of having "Elsa hair", walks around singing the songs (mostly to the dismay of her older brother), plays for hours with her Frozen dolls, watches the movie at least twice a week and recites it} obsessed with Frozen.  Yes that is my life.  Dan made the mistake once of calling Anna, 'Queen Anna'......he was forced (by Megan) to sit and watch the movie with him so that he clearly understood the difference between Queen ELSA and Princess ANNA.  Yes it's true, that's my life!  Can you relate????  Since it's her birthday I didn't think she'd be happy with just any card, I knew a Frozen one was in her future but what????  My first thought was I'll print up some coloring images and make her a mini coloring book that would double as a card.  So I printed a couple images just to test sizes and if my idea would work.  Next thing I know I'm coloring the images myself with my Blendabilities.  My head exploded, the printer ink wasn't bleeding into the image, I now have the power to print and color ANYTHING!!!!  I was stinkin' excited.  I'm so pleased at how this image came out. 

The image did print a little pixelated but it's not too bad and I'm pretty sure Megan won't care.  I did have to sneak into her room and "borrow" one of her Frozen books so that I could see how Anna's dress was colored.  I couldn't quite remember (normally I listen to the movie while Megan watches because I'm doing other things around the house) and I wasn't about to ask Megan and admit that I didn't know what Anna's dress looked like for fear that I would have to sit and watch the movie with Megan pointing out every detail to me :)  I love our Blendabilities Markers and now that I know I can print and color a whole new world has opened up!!!  Happy Birthday to Megan, I hope she likes her card :)

12 Weeks Til Christmas Countdown: Week 3

It's week 3 of my Countdown to Christmas!!!!  Are you having fun counting down.  I am!!!  The last two weeks I've shared treat holders you could give to family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, anyone really!  It's a great way to spread Christmas cheer.  Today I have a card.  I adore this card and I'm so pleased with how it came out.  Normally I'm one to 'fear' the white space and often come up with ways to embellish and 'fill it in'.  I'm here to tell you, there's no fear in the 'white space'.  Sometimes the best cards are the ones that are simple and let the images speak for themselves.  Plus without all the extra embellishments this card is Post Office friendly and you could mail it without a padded envelope or extra postage (you know what I'm talking about!). 

I used the stamp set from the Holiday Catalog, The Newborn King, but instead of stamping the whole image, I used my Early Espresso Marker to color only the nativity scene.  I stamped and punched that out.  Then colored it in with my Stampin' Write Markers.  I punched another piece of cardstock for a window for the image.  I stamped the star in Hello Honey and added small dots to resemble other stars with the Hello Honey marker.  Finally for the greeting I used my markers again and cut out the 'newborn king' portion just to highlight it.  This is so pretty!!!  Remember don't fear the 'white space' :)

Chevron Thank

I have another thank you card for you today.  I don't think you can ever have too many thank you cards.  This one is simple and you can mass produce this one in no time!  I'm loving all the embossing.  I hope you're a fan of embossing I've been embossing EVERYTHING lately :)  I started with the background on this card and used my Chevron Background stamp and embossed it in white on white.  I love this tone on tone embossing, you can also use clear, I just love white on white :) 

The greeting is embossed with gold and then layered on some of the gold foil paper.  If you have silver do it in silver.  Black would also be stunning, Cherry Cobbler would work ....should I go on....?  I love the shimmer from the foil paper and the embossing. Finally to finish it, because there's not enough shine punch a heart from Real Red glimmer paper (or any glimmer paper!) and attach it.  PERFECT!!!!  I told it was simple and quick and gorgeous! I'm going to make a stack of these!!!

Shimmery Thank You

This card is so shimmery and sparkly in real life, the pictures aren't doing it justice.  Before we get to the sparkle though, let's talk about the rest of the card.  I wanted an ombre effect, I love the way it came out.  I knew I wanted the colors to blend together almost seamlessly so I pulled out my watercolor paper.  You can saturate this paper and blend the colors so well.  I started by stamping and embossing my greeting in Clear Embossing Powder.  Then I started watercoloring.  I got the entire piece of paper really wet.  The colors just blend on their own without any help if you paper is nice and wet.  I started on the bottom with Pink Pirouette, because this color is so light I needed a lot of it.  Then I moved up using Strawberry Slush, Melon Mambo and finally Rose Red.  The colors all blended together well.  Once that was dry it needed something......sparkle! 

I thought of lots of different ways to add it and finally I decided to paint it on.  I've mentioned before that I've used the Vanilla Smooch Spritz to paint on shimmer, I love doing this!!!  I spray my Smooch Spritz into a little plastic cup (I do this often enough that I keep a plastic cup on my desk now).  Then with a paintbrush just paint it on.  I love using our Smooch Spritz like this because it gives more control and you can determine how much and exactly where you want the shimmer.  It's so sparkly, I LOVE it!!!

MDSing Mania!

It didn't occur to me that I missed posting on Friday until Saturday, late Saturday.  The kids were on fall break for Thursday and Friday, that messed with my schedule.  Dan took Friday off that really messed with my schedule.  All day Thursday I thought it was Saturday, all day Friday I thought it was Saturday....you see where I'm going.  All my days were mixed up and ran together.  But I did get some MDSing done over the weekend.  I'm on July of this year so the end, or at least getting caught up is in sight!!! 

I'll be attending my downline Michelle's scrapbooking weekend in November---Yay!!!!  I'd really love it if I can get all my scrapbooking done before the weekend, hee hee!  I know that sounds funny but there's so much creativity flowing through that room that I find it hard to sit at a computer.  I'd much rather have paper and ink in my hands.  The more pages I can get done now, the more paper time I have then :)

Here's a few of the pages I've gotten done, I've been doing a lot of cropping and changing objects.  None of the pages are complicated or fussy just simple, fun and tell the store that I want told.

12 Weeks Til Christmas Countdown: Week 2

It's week 2 of my 12 weeks of Christmas Countdown!  I have another 'sweet treat' for you today!  This little box was so easy and it's so stunning in person.  There's so much shine and glitter it's beautiful!  The box is a 3x3x1 box, the gold glitter on top is 2.5x2.5 :)  Yay!! The top of his belt is a 1.5 inch square....covered in Crystal Effects!!!  That's what gives you that AMAZING shine!!!! 

This box is so easy to assemble!  You need a 5x9 piece of cardstock, score the short side at 1 and 4, score the long side at 1, 4, 5, 8.  That's all the scoring, and it's whole numbers, no fractions---don't you love that :)  I'm all about easy!!  While you cardstock is in the landscape position, cut up on the short tabs until you get the long horizontal lines. Flip it over and do it again.  The tabs get glued to the sides and you assemble so easy! 

This box fits 9 Hershey Kisses perfectly.  If you wait a few weeks, they'll probably have the Christmas wrapped ones in the stores so they'll match better than my purple ones :)  The silver or gold wrapped ones would be great but those are milk chocolate, I'm not a fan of milk chocolate :)  The tag inside the box was done on MDS and printed at home.  It says: "Santa's been busy granting your wishes, so he dropped off this box of Santa Kisses."  This was copied straight from Pintrest.  I'm not a poet, I'm sure you know it! (lol---I amuse myself).

Happy Dino

This card is my favorite from World Card Making Day.  This little dino from the Little Buddy Birthday set is soooo cute!!  This picture kind of looks like the card is squished.  It's not really, weird :/ But I love this card the way it folds.  I used my circle framelits and cut a half circle right on the top score line.  I used the next size up from the size I cut out my dinosaur with.  When the card is closed it fits in a standard envelope.  It's still 5.5 inches high.  When you open the card.....

The circle fits right over the little dinosaur and there's another panel inside that you can embellish.  The dinosaur is colored with Blendabilities, after my Blendabilities class last month I decided to get the Calypso Coral set.  It's really not my favorite color I hardly ever use it.....but it colors so pretty!  I may break it out more for coloring!  I also used my Wisteria Wonder and Daffodil Delight colors for the dino and my Smoky Slate color to add a shadow under him.  When you're coloring people, or animals, or dinosaurs it's really important to ground them with a shadow or any surface.  It makes a huge difference when you add a little shadow opposed to a 'floating' object.   

The bottom panel folds out and you have plenty of room for a message or more stamping!  Tomorrow is Week 2 of my 12 Weeks of Christmas!  Don't miss it!

World Card Making Day Cards

I have 2 of the cards I made on Saturday to share with you today.  Crafting on the weekends is always a challenge in my house.  The kids are home, the husband is home, we always have somewhere to be.  But I did manage to fit in a few cards.  They're pretty simple, gotta do it quick when you get the chance!  :)  I have a couple birthdays for men coming up this month so my goal was to at least get those birthdays covered.  These are both great masculine cards.  I love the stars punched out of the newsprint from the Typeset Specialty DSP.  The bakers twine pulls it all together. 

I love this next one.  It's super easy!  I took squares of the Confetti Celebration DSP and some Basic Gray Cardstock and just rounded three of the corners.  I embossed the greeting on the middle one.  They're all stuck down with dimensionals for some extra texture.  And that's pretty much it!  Simple but really fun!!!

Decorated Candy

Last week was our demonstrator meeting.  We had a great time!  This month, since only a few of us could come we decided at the last minute to change the theme of the meeting and do a shoebox swap but with decorated candy.  So we all came up with one (some of us two!) ways to make adorable boxes and treat continers for all kinds of candy!  I don't think any of us used the same one.  I did two, I posted one of mine last week here, I'll share my second one later this week.  Enjoy! 

Carmelita's Swap #1.  She use the new Box Punch Board in the Holiday Catalog.  Believe it or not I still do not own this punch board.  This size box is perfect for a little candy bar! 

Amber's Swap #1.  She use the Curvy Keepsake Box, so adorable!!!  We filled it with little Hershey's Nuggets.  I love it!!! 

Carmelita's Swap #2.  Carmelita used the gift card framelit in the Holiday Catalog and made an adorable little envelope to stick a yummy candy bar!! 

Cassie's Swap.  Cassie made this adorable little pouch that can hold cello bag of M&M's (or whatever small candy!  These skinny cello bags are so cute!! 

Amber's Swap #2.  We stamped and embossed on vellum and then filled it with candy corn.  So pretty!!!  I love that you can see the colors of the candy corn peek through the vellum.

Merry Chocolate

So by accident this week it kind of turned into a chocolate fest :)  There's nothing wrong with that, just the way it happened :)  I have yet another sweet package for you today.  This one is so simple, you'll make a billion of them without even knowing it!!!  I saw an envelope made with circles on Pintrest and loved that idea so I ran with it and put some chocolate in it!!!  The belly band is simple, the snowflakes are beautiful and delicate and coordinate so well with the All Is Calm DSP. 

Slide the belly band off and you're left with the 'circle envelope.  It's so simple, cut 4 circles, however big you want your envelope to be.  I used our circle framelits and the 4th largest circle (not counting the scallop circle).  Fold each circle in half with the pattern you want to show on the outside.  Then you just kind of weave them and layer them like they are in the picture.  Add some adhesive on the back to hold it all in place and you're done!  It's that simple!!! 

It opens up and your chocolate tree is inside!!  I put in a Ghiradelli square in there, it looks like there's a lot of extra room, but the chocolate just slipped a little :)  It fits really well, and so yummy!!!!  It's a cute quick gift anyone would love!!!

12 Weeks Til Christmas Countdown: Week 1

That's right you read that title correctly, 12 weeks until Christmas. Technically 12 weeks from today is December 18, but that gives you a few days to finish up those last minute projects!  This is the first week in a 12 week series.  Every Thursday until Christmas check back for a fun Christmas project, it might be a card, a gift or fun treat boxes like today.  These are super fun!!!!  The Fry Box Die is tooooo cute!!! 

I found these guys were easier to make when pieces were assembled prior to cutting.  For example on the Santa I glued a piece of Basic Black Cardstock onto some Real Red Cardstock before running it through the Big Shot.  The black belt cut perfectly!  Then all I had to add was the glimmer paper belt buckle.  His beard I did separately, I cut 2 pieces of White Cardstock using the scallop oval from the Oval Framelits Collection.  Then the were trimmed and stuck on the back inside of the fry box.  Add a quick nose and you're done!!!  I did add some 'boots' on him I thought it was a cute addition.  It's just a 1 inch circle punch cut in half.  Fill with some 'Santa kisses' (or treat of your choice) and it's done! 

The elf was done in a similar fashion, I took a piece of White Cardstock and notched out some triangles with the Christmas Tree Punch then stuck it to some Old Olive Cardstock before cutting it out.  Then all that I needed to do was add some suspenders-how cute are they!!!!!?!?! To finish him I added some bells and bakers twine.  So cute and who doesn't love a box that's filled with chocolate and jingles!!!??!  I'm excited about the next 11 weeks! Keep checking back!!!!
