It's a Science Magic Card-VIDEO!

Today's card is A-MA-ZING!  I'm featuring the It's a Science Set which is completely adorable!  I gave this card to my son for his birthday earlier this month.  I'm sure there's an official name for it but for the life of me I can't remember.  So I'm calling it a magic card, because it is magic!  My family spent some time flipping the card back and forth trying to figure out.  Your family and friends will be just as amazed!  

I stamped lots of the images from the set and colored and fussy cut them all out.  There are no dies for this set so you will have to fussy cut.  If you don't like to fussy cut change up the layout a little and stamp the images directly onto the Basic White pieces.  I used some of the sciencey images from the set to stamp my background too.  

If you want to see this card in action and all it's magical glory check out my video for all the details.  When you open it you get his amazing checkerboard-ish pattern, but simply pull apart at the middle and the card opens again, as if by magic!!  Pull the sides of the card to return it to the open position.  Repeat. Repeat. Repeat.  It's so much fun!

Parakeet Party 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"

On the long side score at 4 1/4" and 2 1/8" from each side

Fold in half on the 4 1/4" score line and make four cuts stopping at the 2 1/8" score lines.  Mine is trimmed at 3/4", 2", 3 1/2" and 4 3/4"

Basic White 2" x 5 1/2" two pieces, plus scraps for stamping and fussy cutting

Pick Of The Patch Bundle Glow In The Dark Box-VIDEO

I'm so excited for today's project!!!  It is soooo cute and soooo much fun!!!  I'm using the new Pick Of The Patch Bundle in the upcoming Mini Catalog.  We are only one week from the launch of this amazing catalog!  I hope that this bundle is on your list!  I love this bundle so much that I'm featuring it in my Card Crate Class To Go in September.  Get details on how you can get that class here.  Today I'm sharing a fun Halloween box that anyone will LOVE!!! 

The pumpkin faces, greeting and stems are stamped on the new Glow In The Dark Paper.  I was a little skeptical on how well this would work.  We've all gotten 'glow in the dark' products that don't really glow or not very brightly anyway.  I was blown away by this paper!  It's amazing!!!  It really glows, check the last picture on the post, and it's soooo bright!  Anyone will love it!  In addition to the Glow In The Dark Paper we also have new glow embellishments too!  I've used the new Glow In The Dark Bats and Ghosts on my box too.  These would make awesome party favors for a Halloween Party or gifts for anyone this year.  

In my box is a Little Debbie Pumpkin Cookie.  Find these cookies in your area with the Little Debbie Product Locator link.  It's a quick box to make and everyone will LOVE it!  I added more black and white accents with some DSP from the Zoo Crew package and some Black and White Gingham Ribbon.

September 2023 Card Crate-Pick Of The Patch Bundle!

I am happy to announce a new way to do classes with me!  Welcome to Card Crate!  The class that comes to your door and you can do your projects on your time from the comfort of your home.  

If you've done Card Crate with me in the past you'll notice two options now, there's a local one for ones that don't require shipping, that price will stay the same at $35.  If your crate needs shipped it will be $40.

Sneak Peek Sunday! Pick Of The Patch Bundle Pumpkin Box-VIDEO!

It's another Sneak Peek Sunday!  This week I'm featuring the Pick Of The Patch Bundle!  So far every Sneak Peek Sunday has featured a punch bundle.  The punches in the upcoming Mini Catalog are AMAZING!  If you have any punches on your wishlist get them early in the catalog sales period.  History shows that punches have a much longer wait time if they go on unorderable during the sales period.  Today's punch is soooo adorable and I LOVE IT!  I love it soooo much that I'll be featuring it in my September Card Crate.  Details on that will be dropping tomorrow.  So if you love this bundle check back tomorrow for my September Card Crate details.  

Today's adorable box is the perfect vessel for some of the yummy pumpkin treats that are already out in stores.  This box holds a Little Debbie Pumpkin Spice Roll Cake.  If you need help finding Little Debbie snacks in your area check out their product finder.  Put in your location and it will tell you where to buy snacks.  I use this all the time!  Typically for me my best selection of Little Debbie snacks comes from my local Dollar General.  

I absolutely love the stacked pumpkins and this color combo!  Shaded Spruce, Calypso Coral and Lost Lagoon!  Such a great fall color combo!  The punch makes it easy, it punches out two of the pumpkins.  The third one (Shaded Spruce) you'll have to fussy cut but it's quick and easy!  

My box is held closed with a magnet, you could also use Velcro or just tuck the flap into the box.

Slim Line Zoo Crew

A few weekends ago I was able to attend a demonstrator event online hosted by other Stampin' Up! Demonstrators.  It was such a great event and I'm grateful I could watch online even if I couldn't be there in person.  One of the demonstrations was by Terri Gaines and about slim line cards.  I loved her take on them so I had to make a few of my own.  I also shared another project on Wednesday featuring the adorable Zoo Crew DSP.  Check it out here. 

My cards are very simple, just stamps, ink and paper.  I used Blending Brushes for my backgrounds.  My images are fussy cut from the Zoo Crew DSP and my greetings are from the Translucent Florals Set coming in September.  I added some additional coloring to a few of my animals but kept it all very simple.  For my first card.  I used Post It Tape to mask off the road and ink blended it with Pebbled Path Ink.  My sky is Pool Party also ink blended.  

For this fun fold the base is Pool Party 6" x 5 1/2" 

On the short side score it at 2"

Lost Lagoon 5 1/2" x 2"

Basic White 5" x 2 1/2"

The second one is super cute too!  I stepped up my ink blending a little by splattering some drops of water on it after it was ink blended.  I love that look!  I ink blended this background with Pool Party and Orchid Oasis.  I didn't worry about the ground, I used a torn piece of the White Center Paper for the ground.  

The images are once again fussy cut from the Zoo Crew DSP and the greeting is from the Translucent Florals Set.  This slim line card has different measurements but both fold to the same 3/12" x 6" finished card size.

Zoo Crew Bagalope-VIDEO

I have a fun project to share today!  I'm sharing how to make a bagalope!  A bagalope is a bag made from an envelope.  It's one of the first 3D items I learned to make when I first started years and years and years ago.  I've been breaking out lots of the older techniques lately.  I'm loving bringing them back and putting a new spin on them!  The thing I love about the bagalope is that you don't need any special tools or equipment, just an envelope and a paper trimmer.  

I'm using two DSPs on my project today.  The background is from the Stargazing DSP and the animals are fussy cut from the Zoo Crew DSP.  Both are must have DSP's!  I added some ribbon to the top of my bagalope, you could also add a cute clip.  Inside my bagalope are some of the Target nuts.  Target sells a huge variety of nuts and trail mix in these packages.  They're all the same size so they'll all fit.  It's a good option for a treat more on the healthy side.

Modern Garden Birthday

I have another project to share using the Modern Garden Bundle and Garden Walk DSP.  Both products will be available in our upcoming Mini Catalog starting September 6, 2023.  This card is sooo pretty!  I pulled out my Wild Wheat again to coordinate with the DSP.  I love that subtle background.  I stamped a variety of flowers and fussy cut them out.  Sorry no dies or punches for the flowers.  

I used the Bough Punch for the leaves, the stamp set does have leaves but they're a little small and as much as I love fussy cutting those weren't for me to fussy cut, at least now.  Maybe at a later date.  I used the Modern Oval Punch that coordinates with the bundle for my greeting and added the flowers around that.  For some sparkle and shine I added some Wild Wheat Dots to the card.  I have a full supply list below.  You can shop for these products in my Online Store.  Mini Catalog products will be available on September 6, 2023 when the catalog launches or Join My Team today and put them in your Starter Kit.
