Twelve Weeks of Christmas Week 5-Snowman Season Double KCup Carrier

Welcome to week 5 of my Christmas Countdown series.  Today's project doesn't technically have a Christmas greeting but who wouldn't love snow on Christmas!  This would make a great gift for teachers or co workers.  I have a little KCup carrier, that is just sooooo cute!!!!  Obviously you can make this year round but today we're going to specifically make it for our friends and family this holiday season.

stampin up, snowman season, heartwarming hugs

My carrier today is holding hot cocoa KCups but you could make this with coffee of course for your coffee loving friends. Modify it a little and put a coffee or hot cocoa on one side then on the other put a mini booze bottle for a fun boozy Christmas drink!  Of course only do that for age appropriate recipients.  You could also do hot cocoa on one side and a bag of marshmallows on another.  The possibilies are endless!

My snowman is stamped in Memento Black and then colored very simply with some Stampin' Blends.  Colors listed below in the supplies.  I did fussy cut my greeting, you could easily pull out a die if you didn't want to fussy cut.

Make sure you check out the video for all the instructions, I have some fun tips and tricks for putting this box together.

Box 7 1/2" x 5 1/4" score all sides at 1 1/2"
Liner 2 1/8" x 10 1/4"
on the long side score at 2 1/8", 5 1/8", and 8 1/8"
you'll also need a piece that is 3/4" x 3 1/4"
DSP 7" x 1 1/4" (two pieces), 2" x 2 7/8" (two pieces)

stampin up, snowman season, heartwarming hugs

I used the Layering Circles Dies for all of my circle die cuts.  I also pulled in the Give It A Whirl Dies for those adorable stitched hearts on top of the cups.  The cups are held into the holder with a Dimensional and the accents on top are held on with a Dimensional.  Just make sure to let your friends know to remove the Dimensionals before using.  They're easy to peel off on these.  Check out my video for all the details. I have a full supply list below.  You can shop for these products in my Online Store.

Today's project is a beautiful and elegant box.  The ribbon can be used as a handle like a small bag or just for decorative purposes.  I specifically designed the ribbon to be part of the box because I wanted the ribbon to be functional not just decorative.  I actually love the way the ribbon is weaved into the box, check out the video for details.  Because of this design you have a few options for the ribbon you choose what works for you!

The box is Evening Evergreen cardstock, the DSP is the new Ever Eden's package which is beautiful!!!  I added a pop of color with the Rich Razzleberry stamping and lots of metallic accents with die cut Gold Foil leaves and gold heat embossing.  So beautiful!!!

For the box you'll need cardstock that is 8" x 7 3/4"

Mini Jam Jars Tealight Holder

I have a cute and quick gift idea you could use year round.  This one uses minimal supplies and you can customize if for any occasion.  This month in my team group I have a challenge for my team to make a project using our Mini Jam Jars.  Lots have already posted their pictures, I'm excited to share them with you next week!  For my jam jar, I decided to make a little candle holder.  How beautiful would these be lining a table.

stampin up, mini jam jars, pierced blooms dies

While it might seem self explanatory, I want to stress to use a BATTERY operated candle only.  No open flames here.  You can pick up batter operated tea light candle anywhere.  I know our local dollar store sells them so they're pretty affordable.  Keep it safe.  For my jar I decorated it simply with some DSP from the Peaceful Place DSP.  I die cut some flowers and leaves from the Pierced Blooms Dies from our Shimmer Vellum.  So gorgeous!  The DSP is only on the lid, all other embellishments are on the jar itself.  The lid unscrews so you can easily turn on/off your candle.  I have a full supply list below you can shop for these products in my Online Store.

Twelve Weeks Of Christmas Week 4-Whimsical Trees Hand Sanitizer Shadow Box-VIDEO

We're counting down Christmas!  We're already on Week 4!  How are we already a third of the way through our series!?!  Today's project is such an amazing gift.  We're making a shadow box!  This shadow box is sized to fit a Bath and Body Works Hand Sanitizer.  This is an amazing gift for anyone but especially teachers.  I know my kids teachers love getting hand sanitizers.  Plus, you can use this box year round!
stampin up, whimsical trees, whimsy and wonder

For the outside, I used the Whimsical Trees Bundle to stamp the ornaments twice.  I colored them pretty simply with Polished Pink, Mint Macaron and Misty Moonlight Stampin' Blends.  Then die cut them with the coordinating die.  My two labels on my box are die cut from the Hippo and Friends Die.  I've said it before but these labels are AMAZING!!!  The box is finished simply with some Frayed Blushing Bride Ribbon and Opal Rounds.  The real star of the box isn't the outside, it's the inside!

stampin up, whimsical trees, whimsy and wonder

This gorgeous shadow box!  I used the ornaments from the Whimsy and Wonder Bundle because of my hand sanitizer the pink and those ornaments just called for each other!  The hand sanitizer will nestle in perfectly into the shadow box but if you feel that you need to add a glue dot to the back of the hand sanitizer that's fine too.

stampin up, whimsical trees, whimsy and wonder

Shadow boxes can be a little complicated to make, I hope my instructions will make it less complicated for you. I learned how to make shadow boxes from Julie Dimatteo a fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.  I've watched lots of her videos and her boxes are the easiest to put together.  I redid all of the measurements for my hand sanitizer and I followed the cutting guidelines for this shadow box of hers.

stampin up, whimsical trees, whimsy and wonder dsp

The measurements for the box are below.  I do strongly encourage you to check out the video for better instructions.  I do have a template of how to trim and where to place your adhesive below but the video will give far more detailed instructions.

Blushing Bride Cardstock 8 1/4" x 9 1/4"
Score on all sides at 1/2", 1 3/8", 1 7/8" and 2 3/4"
On both of the short sides score 3 1/4" and 5" ONLY down to the second score line
On both of the long sides score 2 1/4" and 7" ONLY down to the fourth score line

The DSP belly band is 3 3/4" x 8"

Nuts About You Box With Lid-VIDEO

I have another adorable project to share using the Nuts About Squirrels Set.  Have I convinced you that you need this set yet?  This box is simple enough to make for any occasion!  I sized it perfectly to fit a See's Candy Walnut Bar.  It's a good size though and would fit any variety of treats!  For my squirrel this time I decided to color him with Stampin' Blends.  I used Cinnamon Cider for the squirrel along with the Color Lifter.  For the acorn I used Crumb Cake, again along with the Color Lifter.

stampin up, nuts about squirrels

This box consists of a bottom, a lid and a belly band to hold it all together.  The bottom of the box and the belly band is Cinnamon Cider Cardstock.  I used Gorgeous Grape Cardstock for the lid and my DSP is from the You're A Peach DSP.  One of my favorite packs!  If you didn't want to fussy cut your squirrel you could stamp him directly onto your die cut circle.

stampin Up, nuts about squirrels

To make the box lid you'll need a piece of cardstock that is 5 1/2" x 6"
To make the box bottom you'll need a piece of cardstock that is 5 3/8" x 5 7/8"
Score the lid and bottom the same, score at 1/2" and 1 1/2" on all sides.
Belly band 1 1/4" x 8"
DSP 2 1/4" x 2 3/4"

I have a full supply list below.  You can shop for these products in my Online Store.  Check the videos for all the details on this box.  Don't forget to subscribe to my YouTube Channel so you never miss a video.

Nuts About Squirrels

One of my favorite sets in the Holiday Mini Catalog is the Nuts About Squirrels set.  I'm so hooked on this set!  I love all the projects I've seen with it and those little squirrels are toooo cute!!!  I have another project with this set that I'll be sharing on Thursday.  Catch my Facebook Live on Wednesday at 10am MT to check it out!  Today's card is so cute and I used lots of leftover card supplies to make it.  My Sweet Stocking DSP was already cut and I had lots of Old Olive card bases ready to go!  I made a stack of these in no time.
stampin up, nuts about squirrels

The squirrel is stamped in Black Memento Ink. I filled in his fur with Cinnamon Cider and the acorn in Crumb Cake ink.  The image are easy to line up, but if you find you're having trouble try using your Stamparatus.  Especially if you're making a stack of them, the Stamparatus will give you perfect placement every time!  I use a Blending Brush and some Crumb Cake ink to shade the outside of the scalloped rectangle a little.  I love that rustic look.  The card is finished with a simple greeting, some White Seam Binding Ribbon and some Matte Decorative Dots from the Mini Catalog.  Such a cute card!!!  I have a full supply list below.  You can shop for these products in my Online Store.  I send a free PDF with 3 more projects to inspire you with every order.  If your order is over $50 with the host code you'll receive a make and take kit in the mail to coordinate with the PDF.  This month's PDF has 3 projects all featuring the Nuts About Squirrel Set!!!  If you love this set consider placing an order in my online store for more projects and inspiration!

Twelve Days Of Christmas Week3-Christmas Season Ornament-VIDEO

It's week three of my twelve week Christmas Countdown.  Is it just me or are these weeks flying by!?  Today I have a beautiful ornament you can make for a friend or family or for yourself.  We're using the gorgeous Christmas Season Bundle in the Mini Catalog.  If you haven't already heard me say it, this is my favorite bundle.  I love love love the images and the dies that are bundled with it have the most amazing labels ever!!!! Add it to your list if you haven't already.  I'm also using the Tidings and Trimmings Bundle from the Annual Catalog.  These dies are equally as amazing and the greetings in this set are pretty fun too!

stampin up, christmas season bundle, tidings and trimmings bundle

If you do want to gift this ornament to someone I'm also sharing the cute acetate box you can give it in.  I think this would be such a cute gift to leave on a neighbors porch or even make a bunch for a nursing home or rehab facility.  What a great way to brighten their room and their spirits.  The box is super simple.  We're using the 3" x 3" acetate box so most of the hard work is already done!

stampin up, christmas season bundle, tidings and trimmings bundle

For my ornament I started with a wood slice, I got these at my local craft store.  They were already strung with the twine so really it's just a matter of decorating.  I love mixing all kinds of textures when I make ornaments.  We have the rustic, natural wood slice.  I added a star die cut with our Snowy White Velvet, more texture. I gold heat embossed on gold foil for more shiny texture.  I also white heat embossed the greeting.  The berries are die cut from the Ombre Specialty Paper and I used our Shimmery Crystal Effects on them so they really sparkle.  Texture on texture on texture.  I love that!!!

stampin up, christmas season bundle, tidings and trimmings bundle

All the stamping was done on colored cardstock.  So the leaves were stamped in Just Jade on Just Jade Cardstock, the pine cone was stamped on Crumb Cake Cardstock with Crumb Cake and Soft Suede.  I just LOVE all the images.  I finished the ornament with a gold bow and some gold Gilded Gems for even more shine!  I have a full supply list below. You can shop for these products in my Online Store. Check out the video for all the details and tips.  Subscribe to my YouTube Channel while you're there.

What's Cookin' Muffin Box-VIDEO

Today I have a super cute box you could make year round!  This one isn't holiday specific but of course with a few changes to DSP and stamps you could make it for any holiday!  This box holds a bag of the Little Bites Muffins.  I found mine at my local Walmart but I'm sure most grocery stores will carry them.  I used the What's Cookin' Bundle for my box.  These images are just soooo cute!  This bundle is featured in the Annual Catalog and it's one of my favorites!!!

stampin up, what's cookin

I choose my colors based on my DSP, I'm using the Harvest Meadow package from the Mini Catalog.  My bowls are stamped in Soft Succulent, Bumblebee and Cajun Craze.  I also used some Crumb Cake and pulled in those same colors of cardstock.  I heat embossed my greeting in white and finished the box with some Soft Succulent Ribbon.

stampin up, what's cookin'

This box is two parts the DSP bottom for the actual box and then the cardstock lid.  The lid stays closed by tucking into the Soft Succulent Scalloped rectangle on the front, die cut with the Scalloped Contours Dies.
For the DSP piece 11 1/4" x 6"
On the short side score at 1" from each side
On the long side score at 5" and 6 1/4"
For the cardstock piece 4" x 4 1/2"
On the long side score at 2 1/2" and 3 3/4"

The muffin bag fits perfectly in it! This box is such a good size though you could fill it with so many other things as well.  I'd love to hear your suggestions!  For details on this box, check out the video below and make sure to subscribe to my YouTube Channel so you never miss a video.  I have a full supply list below you can shop for these products anytime in my Online Store.

Christmas Card Stamp A Stack Class

I'm so excited to share with you today the cards that my guests got to make at my in person class over the weekend.  If you're in Albuquerque and want more information on how you can attend my next in person class contact me.  I'd love to have you there!

This years Christmas Stamp a Stack my guests made 15 cards, 3 each of 5 designs.  I kept all the cards simple, one ink pad, usually one stamp set, most of the cards have gorgeous DSP that does all the hard work in making amazing cards!

stampin up, perfectly plaid, heartwarming hugs

My first card uses the Perfectly Plaid set and the Heartwarming Hugs DSP.  One ink, Mossy Meadow and some Red Rhinestones and Linen Thread to finish off the card.

stampin up, whimsical trees, candy cane background

The second card I love!!  I love the colors and fun stamping on this card.  We used three sets for this card, Candy Cane Background, Whimsical Trees and Heartfelt Wishes.  The DSP is the Whimsy and Wonder DSP, the gifts are cut directly from the DSP.  LOVE!!!

stampin up, holly jolly wishes
There's lots of fun elements on the next card.  There's felt, seam binding ribbon, decorative dots.  LOVE it all!!!  The stamp set is the Holly Jolly Wishes and the DSP is from the Sweet Stocking DSP.  Both must haves!

stampin up, painted christmas, christmas to remember

It's always hard for me to pick a favorite card from my classes but this one is so pretty!  I love the Painted Christmas DSP!  For our stamp set we used the Christmas To Remember Set.  The card is finished with Gold Ribbon and Champagne Rhinestones.

stampin up, for unto us

Finally the last card.  Classic and elegant.  We used the For Unto Us Set.  The DSP is from the Peaceful Place.  The cardstock is embossed with the dots folder from the Checks and Dots Set.  The card is finished with some Ruffled Ribbon and Rhinestones.

Thanks for looking, see you soon!!!
