I had so much fun making this card. I used the stencils to add some Embossing Paste to the black cardstock. It looked amazing with the black and white contrast but it wasn't very colorful. I like colorful things. So after the paste had dried I used some sponged daubers and added on Powder Pink, Berry Burst and Fresh Fig ink.
The Embossing Paste holds the colors well and the blended together nicely too. To finish the card I added a white embossed greeting, glimmer paper and some Fresh Fig ribbon so pretty!!!!

Priceless Gems
I am having so much fun with the You're Priceless stamp set! The gems are so easy to line up and stamp and every time I stamp one they come out so pretty!!! For some added sparkle stamp them on the Shimmer White Cardstock or add some Wink of Stella to them!
I love how they're layered up on this card. Who wouldn't want a handful of jewels! So pretty!!!

Stamp Camp #2
Here's the final three projects my guests got to make at stamp camp. I love the new Lemon Zest Bundle and you know my love of punches, this was gonna be on my wishlist for sure!!! Paired with my new fave Lemon Lime Twist ink and it's a winning combo!
The new Fresh Fig is so rich and bold I wanted to pair it with the Wood Words set. We also used the new leaves embossing folder. Gorgeous!
Finally, you know I couldn't have a class and not feature the piggies! No way!! This card is simple fun and possibly my favorite!!!!

Stamp Camp #1
My new Catalog Stamp Camp was last weekend and it was a blast as it always is. We kicked it off with our HUGE retired stamp set sale then my guests were invited into stamp camp where they made 6 cards using all new stamps and accessories. Everyone who attended got their own set of the new 2017-2019 In Color Markers, a new catalog, bookmark and wishlist.
I said above that they made 6 cards. I have 3 to share today and 3 to share tomorrow. I loved all of the cards this year. They all feature at least one new In Color and all brand new stamps. This years In Colors are so much fun to work with and goodness knows there's not a shortage of stamps on my wishlist! I loved this So Many Shells set the moment I saw it. The greetings are all pretty amazing!
The Lovely Friends set, remains a favorite of mine and I can't get enough of heat embossing this sentiment. Oh! and can we talk about how great Tranquil Tide and Gold are!?!
I'm not a coffee lover but I had to have the Coffee Cafe set! I had to!!! It's so flipping cute and even though I don't drink coffee I have friends that do! I'll share the other 3 cards tomorrow!
I always want to share pictures of my event and I never remember to take pictures. I think it's really more that I'm just too busy to think about it, next time I'm going to designate a picture-taker. My downline took these pictures for me, thanks to them! I love doing our sale. I love having the opportunity for our stuff to find new homes. We had a great turnout for the sale. Thanks to all who came and shopped!
Stamp Camp was also great! I had the honor of meeting Laura there. She's a longtime follower of my blog and came all the way from San Diego to attend stamp camp. I was so blessed she was there! Thanks so much to everyone who attended stamp camp. This event is a lot of work to prep, but it's because of the amazing people that I get to see and chat with that makes all the hours of prep worth it!! I think I have the best guests attending my classes, I'm a little biased though :)

Fabulous Flamingo
This set was one that when I saw it I knew I had to have it. I just love this Flamingo! It's a layering stamp which is why you're able to end up with the awesome color variation on it. It really makes it look so realistic! This was a super quick card that I really made up pretty fast with some supplies that were already on my desk.
I love the texture of the flamingos feathers. This stamp lines up so easily too! For the flamingo I stamped in Powder Pink, Flirty Flamingo and Black. I can't wait to play with it more!!!

Two Pigs, Two Cards
I have the last two little piggys to share today. They're super cute and on a simple notecard, these card couldn't be easier! I even used our pre-cut White Note cards to save even more time! I stamped some clouds and fussy cut the pigs and ink blended them to add some shading. Super simple and fun!
Now on the outside these two cards look pretty identical and for the most part they are. The cards are stamped the same and both say '...says Thanks' inside. But what makes the second card stand apart from the first is this....
..the little pig is popped up on a spring instead of dimensionals so he wiggles and shakes and it's just so stinkin' cute! I could play with this card all day! So cute!! I got the springs from a big box craft store but you could also get the same effect with a small piece of cardstock accordion folded a couple times. It wouldn't wiggle and shake as much but it still would a little. So fun!

When Pigs Fly
Today's card is cute I can barely contain myself! I shared another piggy card on Friday and I go into further details on how I did the clouds and shading of the pig there so I won't go into here. Check out Friday's post if you want more details. I just love this little flying piggy!
I love the greeting on this card, I layered it on a piece of doily and some new Powder Pink Shimmer Ribbon. The inside of the cards says '..so she did' I think this is a great inspirational card for a friend. So encouraging and so cute!

This Little Piggy Meets Embossing Paste
Let's just take a moment and stare at this little piggy, because it's so cute and he deserves a moment in the spotlight. Awwwwwww! I stamped him on some Powder Pink cardstock then fussy cut him out. Initially I thought well it won't be that hard to fussy cut him, he's a pretty simple shape....then you get to the tail and well you start questioning your sanity and why you have these ideas! It really wasn't that bad and I fussy cut 3 more pigs (you'll see them next week!) so clearly managed to survive...LOL! After he was cut out he looked like he still needed some texture so I used my sponge dauber and some Powder Pink Ink and added some shadding to him. I used a Blushing Bride Marker to color his nose and the inside of his ears. I used a Smoky Slate Marker to color his hooves. The inside of this cards says 'loves you' so cute!!
I wanted to try more embossing paste so I pulled out the cloud stencil and made some fluffy clouds. I didn't smooth them out completely because well I don't think clouds are smooth and 2 dimensional. I left some rougher areas on some of them to add extra texture. After it dried I didn't like the white on white texture so I added a tiny bit of shading to the clouds with some Soft Sky ink and a sponge dauber. I added some Lemon Lime Twist grass with a sponge dauber and ink . This little guy is so stinkin' cute!

Embossing Paste Love!
I've had a giant box of new stuff for over a week and I just now had a chance to play with it! We took a family trip to Durango last weekend and that really messed up my play time, though I did contemplate taking lots of my new stuff with me. Stamp Camp prep is in full swing and I have boxes and piles of new stuff everywhere! Plus it's summer so the kids are home and hungry all. the. time. All these things together makes very little stamp time for me! But that's ok, life happens, and I finally did get a chance to play! The two products that you'll see the most of over the next week or so will be the amazing Embossing Paste and the new This Little Piggy set. I'm not using the set today, but just wait until tomorrow!
Today I'm using the equally cool set, You're Priceless. I love the gems and the greetings in this set! They're so much fun! Yesterday I shared my color challenge for my downline last week. This week their color challenge is Berry Burst, Emerald Envy and Whisper White so I decided as long as I'm stamping I'll participate too. This is my card. I love it!!! Let's talk Embossing Paste. It's so easy and so fun! I used a drop of Berry Burst reinker to color a small blob of Embossing Paste, then because I'm me I added a spoonful of glitter too. Now it's sparkle-berry-burst-embossing-paste YES! I used our new stencils and palette knifes and spread the paste onto my cardstock. You do want to work quickly, not in a rushed manner, but you certainly don't want to start it and get up to answer the door or something. I was blown away with how quickly this stuff dries, which is good and bad...Good because let's face it we live in an instant gratification kind of world and I don't want to wait 4 hours for my embossing paste to dry on my cardstock. However, because it dries so quickly you need to be ready to wash your tools immediately. Don't let the paste dry on your tools. As soon as I was done spreading it, I wiped off the tools and stencil with a baby wipe then I took it to the sink and washed everything with some warm water. By the time I was done my paste on the cardstock was dry and I could continue with my card! Let's talk texture, because I added the glitter it's a little gritty, almost like a nail file. That doesn't bother me but if you're sensitive to those kinds of texture maybe leave the glitter out. I did play with the embossing paste a little more without glitter and the texture when it dried was much smoother. So play with it and see what you like. To finish the card I stamped the gem and greeting. Punched a few circles and added them to my card. Easy peasy lemon squeezy! I have lots more embossing paste samples coming up!

Every week in June I'm giving my downline a color challenge in our
Facebook group. I give them a color combo and they create cards with
that combo. Last weeks colors were Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay and Chocolate Chip. This first card is Kim's. I love how fun and chic it looks. A great card to mass produce or do in a class. Really pretty!
Next is Anne's card and it's pretty amazing! I love all the tools and I love how she used these colors to make a Father's Day card! Really creative. Father's Day is this weekend! Do you have your card??

Birthday Balloons
I have another quick birthday card for you today. This one is simple but really fun and pretty. I combined an older set and a newer one for this card. I used the solid balloon from Balloon Celebration and then I stamped the dotty balloon from Happy Birthday Gorgeous over them. The greeting is also from Happy Birthday Gorgeous. The gold trim adds lots of fun shine, especially the gold sticker border on the left! So fun!!!

Cut Out To Be Friends With Berry Burst
Obviously we all want to be friends with the new In Color Berry Burst. It's pretty awesome, and it defiantly sits at the cool kids table. When you pair it up with the new Crafting Forever stamp set it's a pretty unstoppable pair. This card came out super cute!! I love that the scissors are 'posed' to look like they're cutting the heart....at least that was my plan I hope it comes off that way.
I used some Versamark to add some stripes to the background of the card. It needed something subtle the stripes are always my go to for fixes like that! I love the sparkle from the silver glimmer paper and all the sequins!! This is a fun card!

Lots of Candles!
My husbands birthday was this week. We love to give him a hard time about his age. The kids think he's just 'so old!'. I can tease him because no matter how old I get he will always be older than me! This year is the big 39! So we made a card with 39 candles...30 on the front.....
...9 popped up inside. Logan helped with the greeting. We think it's pretty funny. I had some old letter stickers and so we decided to use those for the greeting. This is a fun and quick card, perfect for that 'older' person in your life :)
