When I see an adorable box that I love I usually stop what I'm doing and go make it, immediately. Boxes are one of my very favorite things to make and cute boxes that are unique are even more fun! I saw this box first shared by fellow Demonstrator Julie DiMatteo. Her boxes are some of my favorites. I saw this box that she shared 9 years ago and updated it with some current products. You can check out Julie's video here. This box holds three Dove Promises perfectly but any other small candy or gift would also fit.
While this box looks really complicated it's actually super simple! Some strategic cutting makes this box come together quickly. I like DSP for this box because it's lighter and easier to manipulate than cardstock. The bottom will be reinforced with 2 pieces of cardstock, one on the inside and one on the outside, so the final box is pretty sturdy.
I used the Moonlit Flora DSP, it's dark and moody and I love it. But more importantly it has a few really nice patterns with smaller prints that don't have a directional pattern, which is perfect for this box. You'll see both sides of the DSP on this box so if you have a pattern with two sides you love this is a great project. I added a simple greeting from the Safari Smiles Stamp Set and a Berry Burst Branch die cut from Nature's Symphony Dies. It's a quick box and when you make one you'll want to make a dozen of them.
