Best Wishes
Last week I attended a wedding, tis the season for weddings I think :) Of course I needed a card for my gift. This card has lots and lots of layers and details. It was one of those cards where I wasn't sure where to stop so I kept adding things to it. I think in the end everything works but thank goodness it was hand delivered, this card is not post office friendly with the amount of dimensionals on it LOL. If you know me and dimensionals you can only imagine!
I colored the flower with Perfect Plum ink and my Wink of Stella pen, so not only does it have that watercolored look it's super sparkly too! I fussy cut every element out and attached it to the doily with lots of dimensionals. The doily is on a banner that is embossed with the hexagon folder then attached to some vellum for an added layer. Finally I white heat embossed the greeting and used, yep you guessed it, dimensionals! It's very pretty, but it was very time consuming. But totally worth it!

A Sara Thing
Who else was super excited to get this month's Paper Pumpkin designed by none other than Sara Douglass, Stampin' Up CEO. I know I was extra excited for this months kit and even ordered myself 3 of them! I just love Sara fun style of stamping so I knew if this kit was designed by her I'd need a whole bunch of them! I'm so glad I got extras this kit is by far my favorite kit!
First the kit came with 4 watercolor pencils as a free gift! Yay!!!!! How awesome! I love the size of them, I would love to see sets of all our color groups come in watercolor pencils like that...hint...hint....I love how bright and bold the colors are in this kit.
Oh and my favorite part, getting that sneak peek of Lemon Lime Twist a new 2017-2019 In Color. I love it and I think I'll be using it a lot. It's a fun, bright color that goes so well with the brights I already love and use all the time! I hope you got your Paper Pumpkin, if you're not subscribed don't miss next months. Every month is an exciting surprise in my mail box! Subscribe HERE!

Thank You Class
I mentioned that I had a Thank You card class over the weekend. Today I'm excited to share the cards from that class with you. This first one is really fun and I really love it. I love the different patterns and the monochromatic tone to it. Very pretty and a great way to use the big background stamps!
This card is fun with a big thank you greeting. I love the flowers subtly stamped on the Pool Party cardstock, it almost makes it look like fun DSP!
The last one is really fun, I think this one is my favorite. I love the ombre look of the chevron lines and that pop of Pink Pirouette! So pretty!!!

Who Wants a Popsicle?!
These little treat boxes came out sooooo cute!!! I saw these boxes a while back and I knew I had to make these boxes for my amazing guests who attended my class over the weekend. Aren't they adorable!!!? I only have 3 of the 5 colors pictured here. The two colors missing are Dapper Denim and Emerald Envy. I went with all 5 of the 2016-2018 In Colors.
The box is a pretty standard box. I cut a slit in the edge and slid the popsicle stick in and adhered it down with a hot glue gun. There's a wrapper for the box allowing the box to just slide in and out. So CUTE!!!!! My box isn't too big. I holds two peanut butter eggs. If you ask me that's the perfect little treat. I used some Dazzling Details on the outside of the box to add some sparkly texture to the popsicle.
Measurements for the box:
4 1/4 x 5 1/2 cardstock. Score at 3/4 on all 4 sides.
Measurements for the wrapper:
7 3/4 x 4 cardstock. Score on the long side at 3/4, 3 1/2, 4 1/4 and 7. It is a pretty snug fit.

Crumb Cake Thanks
I have a class tomorrow morning that is all about 'Thank You' cards. I think I send thank you cards the most so I love to have them on hand. I love the simplicity of this card. It's so soft and elegant, yet so simple to make!
I white heat embossed the Birthday Blooms flower (I've used this stamp a LOT lately!). Then I colored only the flower parts with a Crumb Cake marker. It really makes the flower pop and you don't need to worry about watercoloring or a fancy technique. I added a greeting, some burlap ribbon and a doily to finish it.

Jar of Flowers
I have another tic tac toe from my board! Feel free to play along too!
I gave my team this challenge earlier this month. You choose a tic tac
toe and make a project with the required elements. I'm doing all 8 of
them (3 horizontal, 3 vertical, 2 diagonal). Today's winning elements
are Melon Mambo, Birthday and Flowers.
This is my last Tic Tac Toe! I've done all 8 of the winning combinations! It's so much fun! Melon Mambo is one of my favorite colors but it's a pretty bold and bright color, sometimes you want a softer look. This card still incorporates the Melon Mambo factor while staying soft and toned down. I really adore this card and all the colors working together.
I love the Pink Pirouette stripes in the background and I love the pop of Tempting Turquoise from the jar and water. So pretty!!! I hope you get a chance to play tic tac toe along with me!
To see all 8 of my Tic Tac Toe creations click here.

Birthday Bag
I used the Gift Bag Punch Board to make this ADORABLE! Birthday box! I really love the soft pastel like colors of the Peekaboo Peach and the Crumb Cake. I love the softly stamped cupcake, which was stamped with only the two ink pads. I stamped off twice for the bottom layers and off once for the middle layers. It gives such a pretty soft look to the cupcake.
For the sparkle I cut out 'wish' from some Gold Glimmer paper. I attached it all to a doily and then attached it to my project, it's so pretty!!! I just need a friend to have a birthday now so I can give this to them!

Tea Cups
I had quite the crowd at my house for Easter. I decided to do an Easter Tea this year instead of a big dinner. I made tons of tiny tea treats, but I wanted to send everyone home with another little treat. While prepping my Envelope Punch Board class for last week I came across these adorable tiny tea cups. I made a bunch of them for our Easter Tea.
I modified the size on mine to make them just a little bigger. I used a 2x6 piece of DSP and scored every inch for my cup. They're so cute and they hold just the perfect amount of chocolate eggs for an after meal treat!

Swirly Bird Fun
It's been a long time since I've inked up my Swirly Bird set. It was time! And isn't this card so cute!!!?! OMG I'm loving those colors!!! I love the layers on each of the flowers, I love that dimension.
Can we just talk about that embossing folder for a minute though. I can't get enough of these hexagons!!! Every color I do it in it just amazes me the dimension you get!!! So pretty!!! I hope you have a wonderful and amazing Easter weekend! I'll be back on Monday!

Sheltering Tree Thank You
I'll be brief today, this is a pretty fun simple card anyway. You know that feeling when you have 4 million things to do because you offered to host Easter at your house, but you can't seem to tear yourself away from the new catalog (Stampin' Up! demo's can see the new catalog now!!!! It's never too late to join!!!!). It's a good one and my list grows every time I look. But, every once in while I do have to tear myself away. After all it doesn't go live until June and there's still plenty of use left in the stamps I have in my room!
As I was pulling stamp sets off my shelf to put in my 'retiring' box I came across this one. It wasn't lost and I knew I had it, but it's been a really long time since I've inked up my Sheltering Tree set! This card was so quick, simple and fun!
I'm off to clean, or cook or look at the catalog....one of those things will happen......I'll let you decide which one ;)

Floral Box
I have another tic tac toe from my board! Feel free to play along too! I gave my team this challenge earlier this month. You choose a tic tac toe and make a project with the required elements. I'm doing all 8 of them (3 horizontal, 3 vertical, 2 diagonal). Today's winning elements are Ribbon, Box and Flowers.
This box came out super cute!!! I had a class last night showcasing our Envelope Punch Board and all it's many uses. This super cute box was made with the board! I took a 6x6 piece of DSP from the Serene Scenery DSP pack. Boxes are super easy to make with the Envelope Punch Board. You assemble the similar to envelopes but there's 2 sets of score lines. For this box punch and score at 2 and 3 1/4.
The flower is super sweet. I used the pansy punch and punched 2 Calypso Coral flowers and 1 Old Olive flower. I used my bone folder to curl the edges then stacked them all up. For the center of the flower I punched 4 Crumb Cake 3/4" circles and folded and adhered them together. Super cute and quick! The ribbon is from the Cupcakes and Carousels Embellishments kit and it's soooooo pretty!!!

Gold Embossed Rose Wonder
I have another tic tac toe from my board! Feel free to play along too! I gave my team this challenge earlier this month. You choose a tic tac toe and make a project with the required elements. I'm doing all 8 of them (3 horizontal, 3 vertical, 2 diagonal). Today's winning elements are Thread, Birthday, and Die Cut.
This card came out so pretty! I really love the white and gold together, so pretty! I thought the gold and white together needed a nice, rich color to pair it with so I went with Elegant Eggplant. I die cut the rose three times, twice in Shimmery White cardstock for the leaves and once in Crumb Cake for the rose.
Since I covered the rose in gold embossing powder I could have die cut the rose in any color, since I was using scraps I just so happened to have a rose size scrap in Crumb Cake so that's how that worked out. I did 2 layers of gold embossing powder for a nice smooth look on the rose. I added some black and gold twine and some black splatter on the card. I love everything about this card!

Melon Mambo In This World
I have another tic tac toe from my board! Feel free to play along too!
I gave my team this challenge earlier this month. You choose a tic tac
toe and make a project with the required elements. I'm doing all 8 of
them (3 horizontal, 3 vertical, 2 diagonal). Today's winning elements
are Melon Mambo, Add Sparkle and Die Cut.
Our catalogs are packed with amazing products and samples. So much so that every time you go through the catalog you're bound to see something new. I had a customer buy this set a few months ago and I didn't recognize the set name, In This World, so I looked it up and lo and behold it was a set that I. Had. To. Have. Cause isn't that the way it always works out. Anyway I'm really loving this stamp set and I can't believe that I looked over it for so many months!
Back to the tic tac toe challenge, I made my butterfly Melon Mambo to check that off the list and I used my Stitched Shapes Framelits and for the sparkle I colored my butterfly with a Wink of Stella pen. It's hard to pick up in the picture but this image is sooooo sparkly! I also used my gold Wink of Stella to add some sparkling gold splatter on this card. I love it!

them (3 horizontal, 3 vertical, 2 diagonal). Today's winning elements

There's soooo much about this card that I LOVE!!! I saw this card and knew I had to use it for my inspiration. First let's talk about the Hexagons Embossing folder. WOW!!! I've used it a few times and every. single. time. I'm blown away at how incredible it is! So pretty!!! Then there's the flowers. These flowers are full of color and sparkle. I used my clear Wink of Stella pen to water color them so they're so sparkly and pretty! I fussy cut all the flowers so that I could layer and arrange them as I wanted.
I used my Rose Wonder Framelits and cut some more leaves from Old Olive to add more texture and dimension. Finally to finish the card I added a greeting that was white heat embossed on Black cardstock. I added a little piece of a doily because obviously, why not? This card is so, so pretty and sparkly! Total win win!

Bunch Of Melon Mambo Blossoms
I have another tic tac toe from my board! Feel free to play along too!

toe and make a project with the required elements. I'm doing all 8 of
them (3 horizontal, 3 vertical, 2 diagonal). Today's winning elements
are Melon Mambo, DSP and Thread
Melon Mambo is one of my favorite colors in the brights. Obviously in a challenge where I need to use Melon Mambo and DSP I'm going to pull out my Pop of Pink DSP. I stamped and punched a ton of these flowers using the Bunch of Blossoms stamp set and the Blossom Builder Punch. Arranging them was the hard part, LOL.
I love the final look of this card and the cluster of flowers. The greeting is embossed in gold on some vellum. I also threw in some Designer Acetate and some Black Cardstock. I have the Melon Mambo, I have the DSP, I needed some thread...I reached for my gold metallic thread to tie in the gold embossing and the gold from the acetate. This card is so pretty! I love it!!

I love the colors and I love how yummy all these treats look!!! Mmmm! There's a lot of bright fun colors going on in this card, which is just another reason to love it.
I love the Celebrations Duo Embossing Folders. I love stamping over it, it's like magic every time. LOL!! I used a greeting from the Cool Treats set embossed in white on some Early Espresso. This card is sooooo cute I just love it!!!
