I have another adorable card featuring the Sweet Bugs Bundle! I can't stop using this bundle! It's too cute! I used the Cute As A Bug DSP on this card too and that's where my color inspiration came in. From a girl who doesn't ever use Cajun Craze-this DSP is really making me love it. WOW! I did some stamping in the background to add some interest. The DSP is so cute even small pieces will transform your card.
Would it surprise you to know that I used Stampin' Blends on my card. Of course not! It's my favorite way to color! I have the colors listed in the supply list below. I tore the bottom edge of the Mossy Meadow piece for some added texture to the card. When I first started making cards more than 20 years ago, before all our fancy gadgets, tearing was one way to add to the card. Guess what, it's coming back! I've used the tearing technique so much lately. I love it! To finish the card I die cut some flowers from Cajun Craze and added Streaked Dots to the center of them. So cute!

I have an adorable box to share today! It holds a sweet donut treat! These are the three pack mini Hostess Donettes. My daughter loves these. I picked up a huge box from Costco recently and thought I'd make a bunch for her friends and teachers this year. They're so quick and easy to make and they're super cute! I used the Bee My Valentine Stamp Set and the Bee Builder Punch. These have both been around a while but I LOVE them. They're staples in my craft room.
I used the Beautiful Gallery DSP for my boxes. This DSP has lots of dark moody colors so I went with that for my boxes. This box is Cherry Cobbler, which works great for Valentine's Day too. The pop of color from the bee is perfect with those darker colors. I finished it with some Opal Rounds. So cute!

One of my favorites from the Mini Catalog has to be the Woolly Friends Bundle. It's a punch bundle so it's affordable, super easy to use and no fancy equipment needed. Today, I'm pairing the sheep up with some gorgeous DSP from the Florals In Bloom package. This DSP isn't new but I love the patterns so I try to use it when I can. I love the big floral background with the sheep. I used a piece of Vellum to 'tone down' the pattern a little so the sheep can shine. You can still see the pattern clearly but it's a soft version of it. I'm so glad Vellum is back! My heart is happy!
I used the punch for his head and bow. I used very simply coloring for the sheep. I added some highlights to the wool with the Light Cloud Cover Stampin' Blend and some rosy cheeks and ears with the Light Petal Pink Stampin Blends. To finish my card I added some gold sequins from the Loose Gold Sequins. They're so much fun!! I have a full supply list listed below, you can shop for these products in my Online Store.

For the final card of the class I went waayyyy outside of my comfort zone and the result amazing! I did a watercolor background and I love it so much! I used greens for my background but you could watercolor this in any shade and it would be stunning. I went with darker greens so that the white heat embossed stamping would stand out more.

When water coloring make sure you use Watercolor Paper, I added a ton of water and only our Watercolor Paper can handle the amount of water it takes to get this amazing look. Work in layers too. I did 3-4 layers of color, letting each layer dry in between. I also splattered Mossy Meadow Ink to finish it off, I forgot to do that in the video. The final thing I'll say about water coloring is to trust the process, it always looks like a hot mess in the middle of it. Let it dry and see what it looks like then. I always love how it looks dried but not so much while it's wet.
Finally for the embossing, I white heat embossed the tulips after I did the watercolor background. Make sure that your background is dry, dry dry! If it's even a little wet your embossing powder will stick to everything. Take the time to dry it, or let it dry completely before embossing.

After yesterday's card of all the die cutting I thought today, we'd do all the stamping. This card is so pretty! The background is my favorite! I love the way it goes from dark to light, then back from light to dark as you go down the card. To achieve that look, I inked the tulip border stamp in Secret Sea then stamped it repeatedly down the card about 6 times with out reinking. This technique gives that gradient look of color. I did the same thing from the bottom up until they met in the middle.

For the panels on the front, I used the larger tulip and leaf stamps and stamped three panels. This soft grey brown color combo I'm all here for. They work so well together, I love it! This card is stunning! Stunning! I will be straight up with you-there's a LOT of die cutting for this card. There's a LOT of finicky work on this card. It's all completely worth it! None of it is hard or complicated but if die cutting and small pieces aren't your thing there's plenty of ways to modify this card and still make it gorgeous-you could stamp the tulips instead of using the super detailed die cut, you could do the tulips in a few colors or in ombre order. Lots of choices. I love the detailed die cuts in this bundle, it's one of the things that initially drew me to this bundle.

Let's talk about these die cuts, I'm going to give you a tip that will make your life 1000x easier-Adhesive Sheets. Yes, it's that simple! By applying an Adhesive Sheet to the back of the Flirty Flamingo and Lemon Lime Twist Cardstocks BEFORE you die cut them you'll make them into stickers-then it's just peel and stick! You have to remember to add the Adhesive Sheets to your cardstock before die cutting but if you do that this card will go together so easily!
I love the detail of these dies! Look at that incredible lift and texture! YES! Perfection!

The first card of the class is a stunning wreath! The bundle includes the incredible die that cuts the beautiful tulip background (don't worry we'll use that tomorrow). But after cutting it you're left with gorgeous tulips, we're using those tulips for this card. I die cut the background from both Lemon Lolly and Daffodil Delight cardstocks, you'll receive these pieces to cut in your class kit. To create the wreath, I die cut a Very Vanilla wreath base using the two largest circles from the Stylish Shapes Dies. Then I alternately adhered the tulips to the wreath base. The Basic Beige background is embossed using the Forever Plaid Embossing Folder then splattering it with some Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends. Finish the card with some die cut leaves, a Linen Thread Bow and the dots. Gorgeous!

I'm super excited to share this box with you today. Today I'm making an origami pyramid box. There are no measurements to score, in full origami fashion it's all folding which is bonkers to me. I'm so excited on how it came out I made a whole stack of them! You'll want to watch the video below for step by step instructions. Typed instructions would be far more complicated. I saw this box created in a reel on social media and tried it immediately. I'm kicking myself for not saving it or the name of the channel to refer back to it. If it's you please let me know. The folding is pretty simple and the box is so cute!
I used 6" x 6" DSP, any size square piece should work. Our 6" x 6" DSP stacks are perfect for this, there's no trimming. I used the 2025-2027 In Color DSP Stack for my boxes. Any basic patterns will work great, because of all the manipulations of the paper I'd steer clear of anything that has a specific directional pattern. You can also use 12" x 12" DSP and trim it down. Inside my box is a Lindor Truffle-yummy treat!

This card will not be included in the class. It was too cute not to share though. The ants are probably my favorite image in the set (the caterpillar is pretty cute too!). I wanted a pop up element on this card so I tried to make a picnic blanket pop up piece.
The front pop up piece will fold flat for mailing. When taken out of the envelope it pops up and the ants march across it. Sooooo cute! I love every element of this card, from the DSP to the flowers to the ladybug embellishment. I used Lost Lagoon Stampin' Blends to color my ants. there was plenty of red on this card already and I wanted them to pop. I love them in Lost Lagoon.
